Suitability for Composite Bonding
Cosmetic dentistry is the answer to your chipped, worn or cracked teeth. Veneers and composite bonding are two very different things, but both are used to repair and fill chips or cracks in between your teeth, soI guess you’re wondering, how does it work?
After your initial consultation, your dentist will choose the type of resin that most accurately matches the colour of your own teeth. After that, the next step is the coating of the tooth with liquid that enables the resin to set properly. The dentist then applies resin and forms it to he desired shape, before finally hardening with a UV light. The resin is then reshaped until it matches your natural smile.
All this can be done in some cases in less than an hour! Composite bonding can last a number of years as long as you maintain good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups and cleanings.
