Step 1

Book a virtual or in-office consultation at our brand new practice 5 minutes-walk from Bayside Station.

Our dental team will consult with you your options on what you could do to improve your smile and address any concerns you have. We will be able provide you with a guide on cost and time required for your treatment.

We will also be able to provide you with information on our interest free finance options to help spread the cost of your care.

Step 2

Meeting Your Invisalign Team

Once you have decided to proceed, we will organise you to visit our new clinic. At this appointment we will carry out the necessary scans, photos and checks to gather all the information needed to proceed with your care.

We can combine this visit with our Total Oral Health Screen examination and a Dental Hygiene appointment if you haven’t had these in the past 6-12 months.

Step 3

Digital Treatment Planning

We upload your scans and photos to Invisalign and begin digitally planning your treatment.

We will notify you as soon as we are satisfied with the predicted outcome.

Step 4

Aligners Have Been Fitted

Following your check, your aligners will be printed and shipped to our clinic.

We make an appointment for you to get your first aligner and learn how to use your Dental Monitoring Scan box. We then give you enough aligners to last until we need to schedule a review.

Meanwhile, you scan with your scan box once a week so that we can review your progress remotely, reducing the need for face-to-face reviews.

Step 5

Treatment Evaluation

This is normally in 5-8 weeks’ time. At your review we would then start your tooth whitening programme so it can run alongside your Invisalign care.

Step 6

End of the Journey

We can make any additional improvements you want at the end of your aligner treatment, such as composite bonding of chipped or worn teeth. Finally, we scan you for retainers to keep your teeth in their new position.

Smile Hub’s Invisalign treatment is planned and monitored by an experienced Invisalign certified provider at every step of the way, using cutting-edge technology.

You have a broken tooth but it is not sore:

We would advised you to attend Smile Hub Dental Clinic as soon as possible for treatment to avoid possible future tooth loss.

You have broken your tooth and it is sore:

Keep the tooth clean with a sensitive toothpaste and try to avoid hot and cold foods in that area until a dentist in Smile Hub can examine the tooth. It is important to ring, email or book an appointment online through our website as soon as possible.

You have a loose cap or crown, or it has come out completely:

Please phone, email or try to book an appointment through out online booking system on the Smile Hub Dental Clinic website as soon as possible. If the crown is still on your tooth but is loose, please do not force it off as you risk damaging the tooth beneath the crown. If you wiggle the crown gently and it comes off please store it safety until you can be seen by one of our dentists as soon as possible.

Keep the area clean and try not to chew anything hard on this side. Use de-sensitising toothpaste.

If your crown is still on the tooth but loose and it cannot be dislodged then you will have to leave it in place but please be careful that eating on that side does not cause you to ingest or inhale the crown. Please contact us immediately by phone, email or book an appointment online through the Smile Hub website. We need to see you as soon as possible to prevent the underlying tooth from breaking.

Bleeding Gums:

Bleeding gums are a sign of inflammation due to a build up of dental plaque. Bleeding gums can also occur more when someone is run down, stressed or pregnant. It is important to book a dental appointment in Smile Hub Dental Clinic as soon as possible. Please continue to gently care for your gums and teeth. Remember that mouthwashes are not a substitute for good oral hygiene and regular 6 monthly hygienist visits for teeth cleaning. Some patients require teeth cleaning 3-4 monthly depending on their dental history and susceptibility to gum disease.

If the gum inflammation is causing you pain please phone or email Smile Hub Dental Clinic immediately. If it is out-of-hours please go to our online booking portal and try to secure our next available appointment through the Smile Hub Dental Clinic website
